Betty is married to Cletus Coates, a retired middle school Principal. Betty was a teacher in Elizabethtown and they make their home there now.
Cletus has one son, Stewart, of Louisville. Stewart is married to Anna and they have a daughter, Georgia, seen below.
Stephen Elmore, seen here, is son of Betty and the late Jimmy Elmore.
Stephen lives and works in Washington, D. C.
Thad Elmore, son of Betty and Jimmy Elmore, is married to the former Kim Carter and they have three children, Carter, Mary Katherine and Clayton, seen below.
Denise Elmore, one of Betty's daughters, married Phillip Clements, an Elizabethtown businessman. They have three sons, Seth and Carston, who are both avid high school golfers; and Jimmy Kev, seen below in a family portrait.
Terese Elmore, Betty's youngest daughter, married Mark Pace and they have seven children, as shown below.
The children are Katie, Brennan, Hilliary, Hayley, Elenore, Jared, and Rebecca.
